A Prescription For Excellence and Success

bismillahi walhamdulillah

A Prescription For Excellence and Success

  1. Every student have to study for excellence and not only for success because this is the first step in the achievement. He must specify some points he must do to reach good results and begin to apply them since the beginning of the term.
  2. Understanding the basics of the information you are studying allow you to get it easily without loosing time. this easier understanding will provide you with self trust and will increase your morals
  3. Being distracted during studying makes your understanding recording in memory impossible. So studying while distracted is a waist of time. In addition, this is followed by the feeling of unsatisfaction, anger, hating study and science in general leading to detestation of life itself.
  4. This is why we must know the reason for distraction and treat it. Either the problems are internal or external they must be faced and soled right away because postponing doesn't help. If the reason was that your life isn't satisfying and you are day dreaming about the change of this reality then you must know that this kind of fleeing will end one day and you will wake up finding that life had become more hateful and reality is much worse.
  5. Treatment here is that you must accept your reality regardless of what it is and try to actualize your objectives without consuming more time.
  6. You can study in the presence of someone beside you or one of your companions or by applying the method of answering questions (suggesting questions and finding the answers) this makes you more attentive to reach the right answer and help you avoid distraction.
  7. You must repeat the information after small intervals so it could not be forgotten or erased from your memory. This is why studying time must increase gradually by the end of the year (i.e. if you have been studying for two hours, in the middle of the year you must double it and in the end of the year you must increase this time much more).
  8. Arrange the information. This means after you study a subject you must close your book and try to arrange the information you acquired in the form of headlines which subdivide into more headlines tying the information by one another like a tree and its branches. So don't hurry to end your study and get busy with something else before arranging what you have studied or you risk forgetting it easily.
  9. Relate the subject to a story or a picture. You must relate the information with something easy to remember like a story (e.g. history & science discoveries) or a picture (e.g. science, biology, chemistry).
  10. You could have studied and you could have had good knowledge but you can not recall all the information you have. This is oftenly because your information are not arranged, are not tied to each other and you have not exerted enough rehearsals for the information you will present.
